Baan Teelanka – The Upside Down House

Lionel Richie’s feel-good 80s tune is ready to apply in a more literal sense, with the opening of Phuket’s newest quirky and unique attraction which will enable visitors to actually dance, or walk, or crawl, or….on the ceiling ! Impress your friends with the funniest snapshots which will be a hit and will go a long way on the various social networks.

The 13 meters three-levels, completely upside down, fully furnished house is the newest tourist attraction on the island. The eccentric modern western-style house will feature a parking – or wait a minute, isn’t that the roof ? – staircases, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom – all with the furniture hanging from the ceiling, or as it were, the floor…

Where is the owner of the house keeping his personal Tuk-Tuk ? You will be surprised to find out when making a stop at Baan Teelanka.

Are you serious are those fishes in the tank swimming upside down ? Well after all this is their house so it is only natural they are adjusting to the environment

The amusement, entitled “Baan Teelanka”, which fittingly means “upside down house” in Thai, is the first of its kind in the Kingdom and is set to become a must see for any tourist visiting the island.
