Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok presents Three New Mooncakes in a Pastel set


Bangkok, 5 August 2015 – Shang Palace at Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok celebrates this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival with three new mini mooncake fillings in the perfect pastel set in addition to the restaurant’s classic flavours. Signature house-made mooncakes in an exquisite gift set crafted for 2015 will be available from 10 August to 27 September 2015.


With the freshest ingredients, a team of talented chefs from Shang Palace has exclusively created Green Tea Cookies and Cream Mooncake, Taro Gingko Mooncake, and Chestnut and Almond Mooncake to sweeten guests’ palates this year. Two pieces each of three new mini mooncakes with velvety pastel skin will be available in an exquisite gift box for Bt688. The classic five flavours of Shang Palace’s freshly-baked mooncake include the popular fluffy Mini Cream Custard, the best-selling Durian, Lotus Seed, Red Bean and the traditional Mixed Fruits and Nuts. The premium “Cream Custard and Bird’s Nest” Snow Skin Mini Mooncake Set is also available.


Guests can share happiness and prosperity among family members, friends and business associates through an enticing collection of time-honoured traditional mooncakes in an elegant gift set of four, six or eight pieces with prices ranging from Bt688.
